Are you tired of regular bikes being too...well, regular? If so, then you might be interested in the latest innovation from Orbic, a company known for leading the way in sustainable digital innovation.

AI Smart bike

At the MWC 2024 technology fair, Orbic unveiled their new 5G e-bike, which is equipped with cutting-edge technology such as artificial intelligence (AI) and 5G connectivity. This means that the bike is constantly monitoring its surroundings and providing the rider with information about potential hazards, such as approaching vehicles.

The AI is able to process data in real time and display it on a handlebar-mounted screen. This allows the rider to make informed decisions about their route and speed, and helps to avoid accidents.

The 5G e-bike can travel at speeds of up to 45 km/h (28 mph), and its obstacle avoidance systems work up to this speed. The sensors have a 140-degree field of view and are primarily located at the rear of the bike. The rider is alerted to danger both audibly and visually via the display, which also features YouTube access.

The bike also has three cameras. A high-resolution 64MP camera captures the area in front of the bike and stores the footage. A 2MP rear camera serves the same purpose. An 8MP camera allows riders to make video calls while riding.

All data is displayed on a 7-inch screen. In addition to powering the AI, the 5G connectivity can also be used to create a Wi-Fi hotspot for connecting other devices to the internet. Riders can also stream their rides live to the internet while they are on the go. When riding with friends, the bikes can be paired for easier communication and navigation in difficult terrain.

Since the bike does not require fossil fuels to operate, owners can enjoy a comfortable and environmentally friendly mode of transportation. However, the manufacturer does not specify how the production of batteries fits into this picture. Nevertheless, by purchasing this bike, you are agreeing with Orbic’s corporate policy and supporting your local community by riding emission-free.
