The Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been a popular electric vehicle since its launch in 2021. It has been praised for its stylish design, spacious interior, and long range. Now, Hyundai has announced a facelift for the Ioniq 5 that will make it even more appealing to buyers.

Exterior Changes

The exterior of the Ioniq 5 has been lightly refreshed for the facelift. The front fascia has been redesigned with a new grille and headlights. The rear bumper has also been redesigned, and the taillights have been updated. A new rear spoiler is also available.

Interior Changes

The interior of the Ioniq 5 has also been updated for the facelift. The most noticeable change is the new steering wheel, which features integrated buttons and lights. The center console has also been redesigned, and there is now a new wireless charging pad. The infotainment system has been updated, and it now supports over-the-air updates.

Powertrain and Range

The Ioniq 5 is available with two battery packs: a 58.2 kWh battery and a 77.4 kWh battery. The facelift model will also be available with a new 84 kWh battery pack. This new battery pack will increase the Ioniq 5’s range to an estimated 324 miles.

Other Features

The Ioniq 5 facelift will also come with a number of new features, including:

  • A digital instrument cluster;
  • A head-up display;
  • A panoramic sunroof;
  • A heated steering wheel;
  • Ventilated seats.

Pricing and Availability

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift will go on sale in Korea in March 2023. It will then be released in other markets around the world in the coming months. Pricing for the facelift model has not yet been announced.
