Hyundai is hard at work on a new electric vehicle, the Ioniq 9. The Ioniq 9 is a large SUV with three rows of seats, and it will be the flagship of Hyundai's electric vehicle lineup.

A Bold New Name

The Ioniq 9 was originally known as the Ioniq 7, but Hyundai decided to change the name. The new name is more in line with the naming conventions of Hyundai’s other electric vehicles, the Ioniq 5 and the Ioniq 6.

A Spacious and Stylish SUV

The Ioniq 9 is a large SUV with a spacious interior. The second row of seats offers up to 39 inches of legroom, which is more than any other SUV in its class. The third row of seats is also spacious, and it can accommodate even adults comfortably.

The Ioniq 9 is also stylish. It has a sleek and modern design with a long wheelbase and short overhangs. The front end is dominated by a large grille and swept-back headlights. The rear end features a sloping roofline and integrated taillights.

A Powerful and Efficient Powertrain

The Ioniq 9 will be available with a variety of powertrain options. The base model will have a single-motor rear-wheel drive system with 225 horsepower. A dual-motor all-wheel drive system with 320 horsepower will also be available.

The Ioniq 9 will also have a long range. The base model will have a range of 300 miles, while the dual-motor model will have a range of 270 miles.

A Competitive Price

The Ioniq 9 is expected to be priced starting at $50,000. This is a competitive price for a large electric SUV. The Ioniq 9 is expected to go on sale in the United States in early 2024.
