Apple Releases iOS 17.5.1 to Fix Bug Causing Deleted Photos to Reappear

Apple has published iOS 17.5.1, which is a small update to its mobile operating system.

This update mostly addresses bug issues, including a major one that caused deleted photographs to return in the photographs app.

This “rare” bug affected an unknown number of users and might occur even after a device was restored to factory settings.

Deleted photographs would mysteriously return in the photographs library, aggravating customers who tried to free up storage space or erase undesired photos.

How to Upgrade to iOS 17.5.1.
