Alfa Romeo has prepared a special treat for its fans and customers - the new super sports model, the 33 Stradale. This magnificent vehicle appears to be the creation of a brilliant designer, boasting exquisite shapes and the trademark ruby red metallic finish. As Alfa Romeo keeps up with current trends, they offer this model with both a twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine and a pure electric variant. However, there's some unfortunate news to share.

33 Cars for 33 Owners

The 33 Stradale will be produced in a limited edition, as indicated by the number in its name. Yes, only 33 units will be manufactured, and here’s the catch – all have already been sold. The “thirty-three” in its name also pays homage to the famous Tipo 33 model.

Fuel or Electricity: The Power Choices

In terms of power, the fuel-burning model delivers a staggering 620 horsepower. It channels this power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission. The maximum speed is set at 331 km/h. The engine is a derivative of the V6 found in Ferraris and can also be found in Alfa Quadrifoglio models. On the other hand, the battery version of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale is capable of generating over 750 horsepower and can reach 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. Alfa Romeo is keeping the powertrain details under wraps, but with such performance, it’s safe to assume multiple electric motors, likely resulting in all-wheel drive. The estimated range is approximately 450 kilometers.

Maserati-Inspired Technology, Pure Alfa Romeo Design

The chassis will combine an aluminum frame with a carbon monocoque. Many parts of the vehicle will be shared with the Maserati MC20. Engineers have adopted an unconventional solution with vertically opening doors, often referred to as “butterfly” doors. The front axle can be raised for easier maneuvering in the city. Alfa Romeo has equipped the vehicle with a powerful Brembo brake system made of carbon-ceramic alloy. While most of the underpinnings are borrowed from Maserati, the design is unmistakably Alfa Romeo.

The car’s elegant and minimalist interior, crafted from only the finest materials, complements its clean exterior lines. The central console controls the most important performance elements. The wide-angle infotainment display is subtly placed but is likely best left untouched while driving. To ensure an undisturbed driving experience, the steering wheel has been stripped of all control elements. Formula 1 driver Valterri Bottas has become the car’s ambassador and will contribute to its final tuning.

Custom Finishes by Their Owners

Each of the 33 units produced will receive individual finishing touches from their new owners, as part of the new “The Bottega” program. Every owner collaborated with designers on the vehicle’s aesthetics, and a pre-selected committee had to approve the final design. Clients can even select their specific VIN designation. The official price of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale has not been disclosed and will vary for each customer.
