Tesla is expected to deliver twice the number of Cybertrucks than originally anticipated, according to the latest reports. The new estimates suggest a production of approximately 375,000 units per year. How many Cybertrucks have been pre-ordered worldwide, and what is the price for one unit?
Tesla gears up for Cybertruck production
Wall Street currently predicts that Tesla will deliver a total of 94,000 Tesla Cybertrucks to customers next year and approximately 160,000 vehicles by 2025. However, well-known analyst and investment advisor Gary Black presents a different perspective. Based on disclosed communication between the California-based company’s management and its suppliers, Tesla is preparing for an annual production of up to 375,000 Cybertrucks.
Black’s prediction also considers the number of pre-orders, which has surpassed 1.8 million for Tesla. However, it’s challenging to determine how many of these orders will be fulfilled. The deposit required was only $100, and moreover, the price of the Cybertruck will be higher than the initially promised $40,000.
$TSLA Cybertruck delivs are likely to far exceed WS estimates. The Street is modeling 91K CT delivs in 2024 and just 160K in 2025. Based on 1.8M reported CT preorders and communications between mgmt and suppliers that TSLA is planning on 375K annual production once ramped,… pic.twitter.com/xAUildhCJH

How much will the Cybertruck cost?
Most analysts expect prices to range from $60,000 to $70,000. It is highly likely that a significant number of customers will reconsider their orders due to this price range. Estimating the actual number of fulfilled orders is difficult at this moment.
The main production facility for the Cybertruck is expected to be Gigafactory Texas. However, it is anticipated that even the newest factory, Giga Mexico, will supply parts and batteries for the Cybertruck.
