Phone Nothing (1) was delivered with a regular white cable. However, the company has prepared a new cable design for the upcoming Phone (2), and the founder of the company, Carl Pei, has revealed its image.

Nothing is preparing a truly original cable

The cable itself is classically white, but the connectors (USB-C on both ends) are encased in transparent plastic. The “Nothing” logo is engraved on the metal connector. There are also 6 small dots at the ends – could they be small LEDs? It is evident that the designers truly pay attention to details and leave nothing to chance.

This new design is much more in line with the company’s aesthetics and will complement the tool for ejecting the SIM card, which has a transparent handle. It was already present in the first Phone (1) series. Of course, these are minor details that don’t affect the functionality, but it’s nice to observe how each part of the packaging perfectly harmonizes together.

Nothing pays attention to details

Nothing is gradually revealing its new Phone. A few days ago, they unveiled the first official photos of the phone. In this aspect as well, the company sticks to its unique design – once again, transparent glowing backs will be featured, but with some minor enhancements.

Nothing Phone (2) will be fully unveiled on July 11th. The company has already confirmed that its second smartphone will be equipped with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, a 4,700mAh battery, and will receive 3 OS updates and 4 years of security patches.
