Samsung is one of the world's most successful technology companies. Apart from smartphones, it is also very successful in the smartwatch segment, where it competes successfully with Apple. This year, it will launch the Galaxy Watch 6, which will again come in two sizes. Now, thanks to tipster Ice Universe, we learn that the South Koreans will put a larger display in the watch.

Bigger display and smaller bezels

Whether the Galaxy Watch 5 is more or less hilarious, it’s one of the best on the market. So it’s no surprise that they’ll see a successor this year. While there’s still plenty of time before the Galaxy Watch 6 is unveiled, we’re already getting some information. Specifically, this smartwatch will arrive in two sizes – 40 and 44 mm. That is, in the same dimensions as last year. However, we will now see larger displays.

The smaller model boasts a 9% larger display than the previous year. The AMOLED panel will grow to 1.31 inches from last year’s 1.2 inches. The larger variant will jump from 1.4 to 1.47 inches. Hand in hand with the larger displays will also come better resolution. Fans can also look forward to thinner bezels.

Return Of The Rotating Lunette

We don’t know much about the Galaxy Watch 6 yet, but a little has already surfaced. For example, we’re getting a bigger battery and price. Recently, there’s also been talk of the popular rotating lunette that was used to control the system.
