The end of chaos? Elon Musk to step down as Twitter CEO this year

It is no exaggeration to say that Elon Musk is going through a truly turbulent period. This is largely due to Twitter, which takes up most of the entrepreneur’s free time while he must continue to oversee the running of Tesla and SpaceX. The question therefore arises as to when the situation will stabilise.

Elon Musk will no longer be the CEO of Twitter

Elon Musk himself says that he could step down from the leadership of the social network by the end of 2023. After all, this decision was desired by the majority of voters in a poll that Musk himself set up on his personal profile.

“I need to stabilize the organization and make sure everything makes financial sense and the product roadmap is clearly defined,” – Elon Musk said during an online conference in Dubai.

Choosing “the one” will not be easy

“I estimate we could be in a stable position by the end of this year,” Musk said. It’s not yet clear who will eventually become the new CEO of a company that – like Elon – is going through a turbulent period.

However, it is safe to assume that the queue for the position is not exactly long. Elon Musk is an extremely demanding employer, and Twitter has a number of important decisions, hurdles and work ahead if Musk’s dream is to come true.
