The technology company Nothing, born from the vision of Carl Pei, co-founder of Chinese OnePlus, has attracted unprecedented attention since its inception. The brand's most famous product is undoubtedly the unique-looking Nothing Phone (1). Although it's not a flawless device, it quickly earned a dedicated fan base.
The thirst for a new generation of Nothing’s smartphones has been felt by many, especially since the MWC 2023 conference where the young company hinted at its arrival. The fact that Nothing has officially confirmed the development of Nothing Phone (2) on its website and social media didn’t shock many.
The real surprise comes when you see the release date – summer 2023. We’re just a few months away from being able to purchase the Nothing Phone (2). However, according to available information, this exciting novelty will initially be available only to residents of the USA, while the rest of the world may have to wait a while.

What do we know about Nothing Phone (2)?
It’s a little disappointing when you find out that Nothing has released nothing but a rather nondescript animation apart from the release date. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any news regarding the phone’s appearance or specifications. So we can only work with the earlier leaked information. The company itself claims that compared to its predecessor, the Nothing Phone (2) will be a much more premium device.
This is mainly due to the deployment of a much more powerful processor. Thanks to an inadvertent slip-up by Qualcomm’s CEO, we even know that it will be exactly the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 model.
